“ I have shopped organic and natural for over 15 years. I always prefer the local organic markets over the big brand stores, however, I have found that Boise Co-op is very high priced over the larger stores, even more expensive than that top whole food store, which is hard to do. I get that they're local, and I love their deli (their freshly made sandwiches are delicious!) and brands, but it's hard to swallow paying $200-$300 for almost every shopping trip, and I'm only buying for TWO people! If you sign up for their membership, you will have the opportunity to get 10% off your purchase once a month, and you choose when you want to use it, but if you miss a month, you lose it for that month. It doesn't accrue. I will say that Boise Co-op does a great job at keeping everything fresh, choosing clean brands, and being very accommodating. They are friendly, and always willing to help, answer questions, and point you in the right direction. This is why I continue to shop there...and the great food, of course. Basic things for cleaning, toiletries, etc., I get elsewhere, but focus my attention on getting the important foods at Co-op, like meats, fruits and veggies. I do highly recommend them. I just wish it didn't cost so much to do so. ”
“ Nice selection of local top notch items!!! Great cheese and wine selection. A little pricey but good. ”
“ Based on over twenty visits; First, park away from the store and near the cement pathway leading to the store. Reason is the flow of cars speeding into the lot. 5 PLUS stars for; Cleanliness, Customer service Wine department is great from top to every day bottles. Oh you can sample too. Deli 5 stars...prices and taste. Veggie area clean, orderly and good prices. Indoor patio area sometimes needs to have tables wiped (please dry with clean cloth). It's interesting to people watch at this store also. Have patience at check out because the customers enjoy talking and talking to the cashiers. You'll hear so many life a day stories. Lol. Great store...well run from management to every employee. ”
“ Love this location, staff are super helpful and friendly, items are usually very well stocked and the store is always bright and clean! Checkout their coffee bar and fresh food to go selection as well, good stuff! ”
“ Is the Co-Op more expensive than other grocery stores? Sure. Do they work to support the community and offer foods you can't get anywhere else? Also yes. Whenever I'm looking for local food, I shop the Co-Op first. I love the freshness of their produce and that they support nearby farms. They also label everything so you know exactly where it comes from. Beyond that, they have natural brands you can't find anywhere else. The deli has awesome prepared foods, including vegetarian and vegan options. I enjoy the bakery and their cakes and cookies are hard to beat. You can also get bread from Zeppole and local bakers that are hearty and fresh every day. Definitely check out the Co-Op. Just don't get the deli coffee--I'm not sure who makes it but it's too dark and bitter. ”
“ Excellent food choices, and helpful staff! Clean and well organized. I'll be shopping here, as Naty G's was a big disappointment. ”
“ My favorite place when visiting the Boise / Eagle area! A wonderful health food store with an impressive amount of vegan, gluten free, and wheat free options. Beautifully stocked shelves, high quality produce, and the hot food options are very satisfying even if you have food sensitivities. They have wheat free pizza by the slice, served fresh and hot. I can't wait to come back to this store when I'm in town again! ”
“ Love the Co op! It is where I do most of my shopping because they offer so many local and organic products! The staff is very kind and I could shop there for hours! I love how their coffee shop is all organic and even use organic milk, I just wish their hot bar (burritos, sandwichs) used all organic products, especially the cheese and meat, and that they wouldn't use inflammatory oils like sunflower oil. ”
“ Our garden clubs had a District Meeting catered by Boise Co-Op Village. It was a wonderful meal, sandwich with three choices, big cookie on top and a nice side salad. I was really impressed. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. Jeanette C. ”
“ This grocery store is a mixture of Whole Foods and Sprouts. Went there for the first time to buy lunch from their deli section, a lot of options to chose from: salads, sushi, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. I ended up buying a broccoli salad and a three beans salad, both very good. I couldn't resist a whole fruit pie, but I was a little disappointed, some of the strawberries were old, it should have been removed from display. I am planning to return and explore other options. ”
